Use GPS to Track Your Husband!

If you’re worried that your husband might be having an affair, or your teenage daughter might be driving too fast, or you just simply want to get a hold of the location of your rowdy pet dog, get a GPS receiver to track them down.

The Global Positioning System is a U.S. space-based radionavigation system.  It provides different services such as navigation, reliable positioning, and timing, free of charge to any civilian user with a receiver.  It provides precise location and time information for countless number of people in all types of weather conditions, day or night, and anywhere in the world.

The system is composed of three parts: the satellites orbiting the Earth; control and monitoring stations, and of course, the system receivers that are owned by users.  Its satellites transmit signals from space, and the receivers pick up and identify these signals.  Each GPS receiver offers three-dimensional location, including latitude, longitude, and altitude, and also the time.

With such tracking system, there is no need for you to go to extreme measures just to keep you from getting lost.  Ages ago, our ancestors had to build monumental landmarks, make detailed maps, and learn to read the stars in the night sky.  Nowadays, for just less than $100, you can get a tiny gadget that fits in your pocket and can tell you your precise location on Earth at any time.  For just as long as you have a receiver and a cloudless view of the sky, never will you get lost again.

Applications of GPS

Nowadays, this tracking system can be used for a variety of purposes.  Some of it include:

· Car Tracking

From the name itself, you can use the system to track down certain vehicles.  It’s a very popular tracking application since the weight and dimensions of the devices are less critical in car installation.
· Wildlife Tracking
Scientists and researchers use this device to track down developments of different species.  There are collar tracking systems that fit even the biggest mammals, and small devices for birds.

· Personal Locator

This type of  system operates the same as others, except that it comes with a Panic Button, or any large buttons, that allow the user to initiate a voice communication with pre-programmed phone numbers.
· Teen Car Tracking
These devices work similarly to ordinary car tracking devices, except that it reports speed acceleration/deceleration along with the location.
· Pet Tracking
Weight and dimensions are very crucial in pet tracking devices.  They must not be heavy to the point that it burdens your pet, especially small pets like cats.
· Offender tracking
These devices are often worn on an ankle bracelet to monitor and keep track of offenders.  They must be tamper-proof.

These are just some of the many uses of this tracking device.  Now you don’t have to hire an expensive investigator to do the dirty work of following your husband and kids around.  You can use GPS to locate them through their cars, cellphones, etc.  With it, they will never be out of your sight again.
